About Claire Blaylock
Claire Blaylock is a nonprofit leader with over a decade of experience working with institutions of all sizes. As an Executive Director, Claire specialized in organizational growth, program development, and change management. She has a history of securing large scale funding from private donors and foundations including The Oregon Community Foundation, The Miller Foundation, The Murdock Charitable Trust, Oregon Health Authority, Institute of Museum and Library Services. She is an expert in building institutional support from a broad range of stakeholders and believes that communities are at the heart of the nonprofit sector.
In addition to her consulting work, Claire has served as the board president of the Oregon Museums Association and a board member for the Willamette Falls Heritage Area Coalition, and she is a currently a board member of the educational nonprofit The Shadow Project.
Claire holds a master's degree in history from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and was a 2017 Getty Foundation Next Generation Leadership fellow.
